[nagdu] why do we have to let airlines know that you have a dog

I have to say here, that flying from Montana to anywhere I haven't had
problems, in where I wanted to sit.
Now when I went to a convention years ago, I did have problems.
What truly ticked me off was I did sit in the balk head, and the family
who wanted the seat got quite angry.
I shared I wanted to move, again I was told if I got up I would be
thrown off the plane.
Then the family understood what was happening to me and said they were
sorry for this to happen.
When I called the air lines again to share what happened after I got
home, they just wanted me to have a free flight.
I saw no reason to take it, because I didn't want to have happen what
happened before.
Everyone thinks if you have a huge dog you need to take up the balk head seat.
A lady was sitting by me, where they let her keep her purse, but for me
"you are blind, we need to have your purse.
yes I am not a fan of flying.
Just drives me crazy.
Especially when I am alone and I am scared in the first place.
I sure don't need the hassle.
I did fine this last year though.
