[nagdu] clicker training

The suggestions just given are great. I am trying to start clicker
training with my cat, and plan on doing clicker training with my guide
dog when I get one, but my days are so full, I can't seem to find the
time for training the kitty, and I don't have my guide dog yet.

However, may I suggest putting some crinkly material on the edge of
the mat, such as sometimes is used for cat toys, or perhaps some
aluminum foil taped to the first inch of the mat around the edge? I'm
not sure how your dog would react to this, so it'd be trial and error,
but it may help you to hear when he touches the mat, as these
materials are quite noisy *grin* That's what makes them such good cat
toys, after all.

The bell is definitely a great idea. If your dog is not averse to
booties, perhaps get booties for him and put a bell on each like you
would on the shoes of a child?

That's all the ideas I have for now...
