[nagdu] shock collars and electric fences

I definitely agree.  Invisible fences are a recipe for disaster.

I know someone who's dog got cornered in the boundaries of the fence and got 
attacked and killed by another dog.  He may have been able to get away or 
have a fighting chance if he hadn't been trapped like that.

My uncle's dog got abused by neighborhood children, someone's dog got teased 
and became agressive.

Your dog is stuck in, unless someone removes the collar and takes your dog 
away from you.  Really, they're not a good idea, no matter what the benifits 
are, because they put your dog at a much higher risk than a traditional 
fence.
