I think this was a bit harsh to Lyn. A quote from her post:

At any rate all we have to go on is the news article and I think we can at
least all agree on the fact that news reports never tell the whole story.
It's just a way to prompt discussion of various topics.
I'm going to extend the benefit of my doubt and assume that the comment :

was directed toward the store owner referred to in the article and not to
Lyn.
