Yes, I know the store. It is Big Y in North Haven, CT. It is the only Big Y
in the town, so I'm sure you won't have difficulty in getting their number.
One idea that a friend of mine had: The statement from the store actually
came from their headquarters out of state, so there's a good possibility
that person doesn't have accurate information. Nevertheless, they can't ask
people to call ahead if they are coming in with their service animals.
