Yes, Laveau does do "the look" very well.   People seem to not 
pet her so much because she won't give them the eye contact 
they're looking for unless it's to give "the look."

Sunday I was at a craft store and standing in line with my SSP 
(which is kind of like an interpreter that helps me shop and 
such).  Some random lady starts taking pictures of Laveau and is 
getting frustrated because Laveau won't look at her even though 
she is doing her level best; making kissing noises and talking 
baby talk to her.  I like that she is so stand-offish with 
strangers.  By the time my SSP interpreted what the lady was 
doing/saying she had left which is lucky for her.
