This is not funny, but I had to laugh on this when Marion said this. Walking home on the bus yesterday, this lady said that Maxx is a dirty dog, I said excuse me, she said that my dog looked dirty, I said that he isn't and that he gets brushed everyday and gets a bath on a regular bases. She didn't say one word after that, but man oh man, my eyes were watering over that strong perfume she was wearing.

When she got off the bus, the bus drive who I have known for years, said that she wears the worst perfume and that all the passengers on the bus started opening all the windows in freezing weather just to get the smell out.

  Dear All,
I feel that the terms "smelly" and "offensive" are very subjective terms
that open doors to discrimination! The presence of a dog, in and of itself,
may be considered "offensive" to some, as we have already discovered! Even a
nicely groomed dog that is perfumed may be offensive to someone! I sure hope
the DOJ defines these terms a bit more rigorously, as we could see an
increase in access if word ets around that "smelly and offensive" dogs can
  be removed from public accommodations!

  Fraternally yours,
  Marion
