Marion,

90 pound black dogs do tend to create a bubble of space around you. I rarely 
get drive by petters with Monty.   It's really very nice.

I've never longed for a German Shepherd though.  I really wanted a Doberman, 
badly, but I ended up with my Boxer mix.  Now I'm sold on the Boxer.  I 
don't know if I could be talked into a different breed after experiencing 
the Boxer lifestyle. *smile*

Best wishes with Sarge.  I'm enjoying reading the updates.
