With a guide dog, daily coming combing and brushing are essential, since
your guide will not be hanging out in the yard or house all day, but
accompanying you everywhere you go, and must be in tip-top cleanliness to be
welcome anywhere.

I have a pet dog, so I hope I am well acquainted with the care a dog
requires. Besides the fact that with a guide dog the entire responsibility
of its care is mine, is there any difference in care with a guide dog than a
pet?

Thanks for all your helpful advice and suggestions.
Mark
