[nagdu] Explaining to parents that guide dogs are useful

Hey rox,

The guide dog foundation has I believe reinstated the GPS training only last
year if memory serves. They were having significant issues with the trekker
system they were using and have recently switched over to something I
believe is called the breeze, do not quote me on the new name of the gps. I
am still waiting to go on that class to get training for a gps. I will
inquire into this and try to report back. Peace.

Mark,

My dog is not from TSE but she will follow if I ask her to. Well I
should qualify this; she will follow if it is safe, in her opinion, to
do so. She's an independent Doberman and the follow cue was actually
one of the hardest things for her to learn.

I've used a GPS with my dog and it was pretty easy. I think that the
Guide dog Foundation and Leader Dogs both teach the GPS to their
grads. I'm not positive, though.
