Albert,

My husband has the trekker with the PDA and it doesn't surprise me  
that the GDF was having problems. That thing is a pain in the neck to  
use and I'm glad I'm getting one for the braille note instead.  I've  
seen the Trekker Breeze and it's a lot easier to use.  At work, we're  
also demoing
  a mainstream GPS which is accessible; it's called the Kaptn. I can't  
use it because I need a braille display but it's lower in price--  
about $500 and is easy to use if you can hear the prompts, lol.

That is great that the GDF will let you come back for GPS training  
once you've received your dog.
