Wayne,
Holy cow! That must be a seriously nice crate. Do you happen to know what
brand or what features it has?
I bought a super huge Vari-Kennel for Monty. I think it's the biggest size
available. My husband calls it "the dog barn". ROFLOL It cost just over
$100 or so including the shipping.
I don't use tie down at all. Monty loves his crate. He will go in there
sometimes in the afternoon just to hang out or take a nap.
Now that he's grown out of his puppy craziness and is reliable in the house,
I don't use the crate as much as I used to. Again, it's just one of the
many things that you have to figure out what works in your current
situation.
