It is just my knowledge but I could also be wrong I only herd they made relief areas mandatory and were urging people to write their local airports and request and explain how important one is inside of security - I do think there are a FEW with inside security ones but not too many though most have them outside security now still not fun when you have a connector with a short lay over ... in my experience it takes me about 1 hr just to get out past security and back in nevermind if you preboard with your dog then theres only 1/2 hr for that hr of time .... not enough it is tough and sometimes Denver will have to hold up to 9 hrs not healthy either

That is some improvement from no relief area. Thanks for the update!

Hi,
The rule states only that a relief area must be present. There are no
specifics about having it inside or outside Security.
Just yesterday there was a conference call about the new and existing rules
and regulations. This subject was discussed. Sorry the news isn't better.

I'm thinking that the rules changed on this not too long ago. If I'm not
mistaken, I think airports have to have a service dog relief area inside of
security. Or perhaps it's only the major airports? Hopefully someone with
a better memory will know what I'm talking about. *smile*
