[nagdu] Universal

Ah, yes. In that case, you do want to find other alternatives. Sigh. I
hear ya with the family not accepting the guide. Since I don't have RP and
am not going blind, I definitely don't need a guide dog! Also, That Dig is
pampered, spoiled, good for nothing and, I daresay, codependent!

I don't spend time with them, even on a duty visit, without an escape plan,
and I do *not* leave my dog unattended.

In my chosen family, the key player (DD) is very good, if slightly
overindulgent sometimes, when I hand him the leash so I can sign something
or whatever. I trust Mitzi if I drop the leash at such times, but better
safe than sorry. Actually, now that I think about it, we're just so in the
habit of his taking the leash -- from when my hands were too numb and clumsy
to figure it out -- that we do the exchange automatically. /lol/ When I go
off to buy things on my own, the leash is not nearly so active. /smile/

Have fun on your trip!

Hello
My family is not very receptive of my guide. They feel I do not need him so
do not really want to leave him with them. Also I go on every single
rollercoaster there is back to back so I would feel better if he was in a
calmer environment. Am checking in to sitters for him right now but we will
see.
