Hi, Lora, That's great news!

I had relieving issues with my dog for a while and just thought I'd share
about how I finally stopped it. When I was in Australia at dog school, we
used a toilet harness which I found to be about the best thing around as
there's no more looking around for dog pooh. When my dog started holding out
on me and then pooping on the sidewalk while we were walking, I could
correct him and scold him and whatever else and he just seemed to ignore it.
I was hessitant to do so but warned him I would just leave his toilet
harness and pooh bag on him if he didn't' cut it out! I was a little worried
that people would call it cruelty and report me. But one day I got so
frustrated that's what I finally did and there he was walking down the
sidewalk with his pooh bag and all. Made me thing of horses. When we got to
the bus stop, I removed the bag and there was a little tiny bit of pooh so I
think he must have had second thoughts when he realized he was going to be
dragging that bag of pooh behind hijm all the way to the bus. He tested me
once or twice after that but that was pretty much the end of that. It's so
strange because he's not normally all that stubborn about things, but I
guess that was his one thing to test me about.

Aloha,
charlene

Subject: [nagdu] New Guide

Hello everyone
This is Lora and I received my new guide in June from TSE. He is a golden
retriever black lab mix named Kori. He is a very good dog definately well
trained. He has some issues it dog distractions but gets focused. I am
working with TSE to get his relieving in harness under control. This was an
issue in training. He is a safe guide which is good since my last two were
not. Hope to hear from people soon.
