[nagdu] guide dogs

Hi,
I have had two German shepherds, two black Labs, and yellow Labs. Landon is
red.

I have found that if the dog is friendly, people will feel safe to approach
it and pet it. If your dog, no matter what color or breed, gives inviting
body language or eye contact, people will come and pet it. If your dog, no
matter the breed or color, is aloof towards strangers, people will see this
and not approach it.

I will admit that people will be wary of a large black dog like Julie's.
Also, it depends on where you are. In my experience, Muslims and some
blacks are wary of my dog. this is due to a cultureal issue. We are a
country of animal lovers for the most part. Our dogs, well socialized and
friendly, are magnets for the dog lovers oout there.

Lyn and Landon
