Remember, she is a dog first, and as much as we want them to be perfect,
that is just an impossible request. Sometimes it is expected that these
highly trained dogs become little soldiers, and are expected to do
everything right. We forget that they are dogs, and this is just simply
their nature. I think we probably have all had similar situations take
place, and sure, we were probably frustrated at the time, but can look back
and laugh. Change that around, and laugh when it happens as they are just
doing what is inherently in them. You want shredding stories, counter
surfing stories, or times we all were frustrated with our guides for
something was a real concern, just ask and we will deliver, so the best
advice that you are getting from your peers is to hug her and maybe even ask
her if it was good, because it is not going to happen again. And, one more
little piece of advice, she did not really do anything wrong, you were
probably more at fault for leving this out for her to investigate...it takes
two.

Subject: [nagdu] HELP!!! LIVID DOG HANDLER!!

Hello everyone, sub says it all. I just got out of a a lovely hot bath and
went into my room to change into my pajamas and I found what I at first
thought to be tissues torn up all over my floor. I of course was not happy
about it but not overly angry since Hailey has a propensity to tear up
tissues from the trash. However, oncloser inspection as I went to clean up
the mess I realized what the mess actually was. It was my dirty Seeing Eye
lunch bag that I had put in the laundry since it had corn beef and cabbage
juice all over it. Hailey completely tore out and chewed up the bottom of
the bag. I am so very livid that I don't even want to see her or touch her
right now. What should I do? Help and advice would be very much
appreciated right now. I really don't know what to do.
