[nagdu] convention?

Ed,
Oh! It is super awesome! It's a medieval sort of dinner consisting of
roasted chicken, a beef rib, potato, soup and bread or at least that's what
we were served. All the waiters/waitresses are dressed in medieval garb.
You sit in theater type of seating with long tables in front of you. It's
arranged like an arena. There's a bit of theater sprinkled with lots of
demonstrations on jousting, swordplay, falconry and all sorts of other
stuff. Did I say it's awesome? But it's really loud, not quite as much as
a concert, but close at times. A group of us went in 2008. There were
two guide dogs in our group one had no problem and the other was seriously
not enjoying the action.
It's pretty close to the Hilton we'll be at. I'm not sure how easy it would
be to walk over there. The distance wouldn't be a problem, but no clue what
the pedestrian ease of travel would be like.
Julie
