Actually it's Bob who makes the harnesses.  I don't know the pointy  
end of the needle from the other one.  I'm just the herb lady.

Duncan isn't our dog; he's just wearing a harness that Bob made.  He  
is an assistance dog for his handler in the midwest, I think.

As for the martingales; Bob will have to address that as I don't have  
a clue.  I do know he makes all nylon ones with the backpack style  
clip for removing the collar.  Laveau-- my guide dog-- is a Doberman  
and her head is smaller than her neck so she can back out of a flat  
nylon collar.  She wears a martingale which is all nylon.
