That is a lot of time, it is much faster and efficient to have a harness
handle that comes off, instead of taking the whole harness off.

The handle is rigid and straight, to enable the dog to guide effectively,
make sharp turns, and slip through narrow spaces.
If you need to put your dog in a small space, such as a car with very little
room, or under the seat in front of you on an airplane, removing the handle
makes the dog fit better, and also allows for more flexibility & comfort.

This may sound like a stupid question, but I haven't got my dog yet so I
don't fully understand everything that goes on?
Why does one need a harness with a detatchible handle? Is this kind of like
how some people prefer folding canes to rigid ones?

Thanks
