I have a dog that has a million allergies and often just make beef jerky for
treats.  I generally use flank steak because of the way it cuts up, then
slice it very thin, marinate it in some Worcestershire sauce and garlic over
night, then spread the pieces out on a cookie sheet and bake at 250'F for
about 6-8hrs.
