Hello,
Yes gdf does teach the dogs to stop at steps, and we need to keep 
working on that so they don't forget how.
Maybe this is something Mike forgot to mention.
Oh yes. I do this even on curbs.
Especially a step down curb. Then I know I have more of a chance not to 
fall down.
