Well, I was thinkingin terms of how your workiung dog works after you've 
walked the other dog. Obviously it would be different in that the pet would 
have only the leash on.

What do you mean "Do you think it is an issue for the other dog?"?
I have walked pet dogs with my cane and it works fine.  I have also walked
our pet Murphy with my Leader Dog Charlie, before Charlie retired.  Murphy
after a little experience, learned to walk on my right in stride with
Charlie.  I realize Leader Dog would probably frown on walking a pet dog
while working a guide, but I had no problems.
My new Leader Dog Auggie and I have not worked long enough together to try
to walk Murphy with us at the same time.
