[nagdu] places a guide dog can't go

What about food preparation areas that are open to the public, such as
in a Jibachi grill? The food is prepared on a stovetop right in front
of people, so that is the food preparation area. Is there any
exception made in the ADA saying guide dogs can't be excluded from
these locales?

Also, I'd like to note that while petting zoos are usually open to
people with service animals, I think the real problem is with
open-area exhibits, such as bird- or monkey-houses, 'safaris' (where
people are driven through an open area where wild animals are living
on zoo property, and behind-the-scenes areas, such as backstage tours
of the veterinary buildings (where sick or injured animals may be
loose, and the public is welcome, but a dog may startle the sick or
injured animals). Those are the instances wehre I think it would be
appropriate for a zoo to say no to a service animal's accommpaniment.
