[nagdu] Traveling Advice

no I am not talking about 2 different things, they are being nice as well, we do not have to take them, like myself I would prefer assistance if I am not traveling with Nelson, or sometimes I will not take assistance even if he is with me, all depends on the situation.
We are letting others know that NAGDU has made strides and us standing up and saying things to enforce the laws. If we don't and say and yell they haven't changed anything, well then did you make a complaint about it to the proper people or not.
Like I said I am in a position to talk to the vendors/suppliers first hand on these issues and we are not the only disability out there that is fighting this as well.
Autism, deaf, wheelchair, etc.
Since 20 years ago with the ADA and organizations like ours are making strides. If you do not want to let your travel accommodations know that you are not bringing a dog, then please remember to follow what the hotels ask as well, it is all give and take, and I am giving hotels as an example:
Do not leave dogs unattended
Please clean up after your dog, and if you are without a busy bag when an accident occurs tell someone right away, others will step in it, or get help.
If you need something ask.
If you need assistance ask.
The biggest compliment you can pay me is to recommend my services!

Maybe we are talking about two different things here. Cheryl and Albert
seem to be talking about facilities being, "guide dog friendly".
Are "guide dog friendly" and law abiding the same thing? Is guide dog
friendly something more than law abiding? Should we expect special
treatment above and beyond what is offered other people in the same hotel or
on the same plane?
Truly and honestly, I am not trying to offend anyone, I just want to
understand this. I've always gotten good service at hotels, restaurants etc
without calling ahead, but maybe I'm missing something?
