[nagdu] Traveling Advice

You are not missing anything. We all of us travel a little differently. Some
like to make advance notices and others do not. it is just my contention
that neither alerting places in advance nor not at all has complicated my
day. that does not mean I occasionally run into the levels of ignorance
which have caused some to not want to take advance notice on any level. It
is just a choice plain and simple.

Maybe we are talking about two different things here. Cheryl and Albert
seem to be talking about facilities being, "guide dog friendly".
Are "guide dog friendly" and law abiding the same thing? Is guide dog
friendly something more than law abiding? Should we expect special
treatment above and beyond what is offered other people in the same hotel or

on the same plane?

Truly and honestly, I am not trying to offend anyone, I just want to
understand this. I've always gotten good service at hotels, restaurants etc

without calling ahead, but maybe I'm missing something?

Julie
