[nagdu] Grave problems with Pilot Dogs program

Passle,

I didn't realize yours was a Pilot Dog. Good to know you've been getting
good dogs from them.

I loved your description in another post of working your dog on alternate
sides. I considered training Mitzi that way at one point. Then it occurred
to me that since this was my first guide dog as well as my first time
training a guide dog, I should probably give that notion a miss. /smile/ I
do like the idea of having that flexibility built into the training in case
you need to switch sides for some reason. Thanks for explaining how that
can work in real life!

Hello,

I am a Pilot Dog Handler. I am working my second guide from Pilot.
I worked my first dog for 10 and a half years. My second guide and I
are together for a year. We just got done traveling for Erie,PA to
Buffalo, NY to Texas and back to Erie with no traffic problems. We
will be traveling to Penn State next month and I can assure you we
will have no traffic problems.

I you want to talk call me (814) 833-6366.
