Bob it is good to know there is another team from pilot. We get what we expect many time out of any experience so wherever you get your dog I hope it is a great experience

Hi Karen. Amos was issued to me in December 2006 from Pilot Dogs. He is a
super black lab. He has traveled to Phoenix, Chicago and both airports in
DC. He stops a little early at curbs, but other than that he is as perfect
as a dog guide can be. We crossed Broad Street in downtown Columbus-8 lanes
of traffic) as part of our final exam without any problem. My first guide
was from Leader and I don't see any difference in their street crossing
capacity. We, Amos and I, are a team. Sometimes I think people expect too
much from their partner.

I can only speak for myself and I am unaware of any changes at Pilot Dogs.
If you go there thinking it is an inferior program, then you are probably
doomed to a bad experience. Try to keep an open mind. Good luck where ever
you go!

Best regards,
