Hi, Rox,
Although I've been a guide dog handler for eleven years off and on, it felt 
better to have a dog beside me.
I still use my white cane, but find a dog more comfortable, especially when 
it comes to major intersections, like Colorado Boulevard and Colfax Avenue.
Despite that Odie was my guide dog way back then, he also learned how to 
help me with my ballance.
I have rumitory arthritis, chronic severe asthma and convulsive grandmal 
seizures.
Although I'm glad I learned how to use a cane, the dog is more feasible.
