Hi, Margo,
I've used my cane and heel Odie when patterning a route for him to learn.
After doing that several times, I put my folding cane away and made him work 
the route himself.
Once a job was well done, he definitely earned a huge amount of praise and 
was happy with his accomplishment and earing the praise as his reward.
Guess this will be the last email from me for today before I driver everyone 
nuts...
