Hi, Tracy,
So sad for the loss of your mother and it's honestly painful, especially
since she was the one who brought you to the earth.
Although my mother's a pain in the neck at times because of her stubronness,
I still love her no matter what and am glad she's still alive.
*Smiles*
I know that the short prison sentence could have been longer, but I guess
laws are different in each state.
Truth is that if one is tired from a late evening job, maybe they shouldn't
drive at all, but do car pooling where the other driver is alert, awake and
aware.
My mom used to be a bar tender and work evenings.
One night on her way home around midnight, she fell asleep behind the wheel
of her blazer.
She veered off the road into a field and slammed into a sigh where her
mirror broke into pieces.
The sound woke her up.
Thankfully, she wasn't hurt and no one else was hit either, except for the
sign in the field.
Once my mother got remarried, she worked partially in the day time for a
while, then left the workforce due to her being pregnant.
She did go back to work at night when she was with Wal-Mart, but was smart
enough to sleep during the day time and then go to work at night time.
She no longer does evening shifts, but works in the day time at an Auto
Parts store.
I know my words may not help prevent the pain from that loss, but figured
I'd have to put myself in your shoes.
Bibi
