[nagdu] Neighbors mourn death of blind pedestrian; his service dog will recover

Yup! Also, there's a lot of vague wording that makes it impossible to
have a clue how it all went down. And a lot of emotional loading. In
other words, to me it reads more like an 8th-grade creative writing
assignment than a news report. Which is what journalism has become,
predictably from what happened in 1994 -- or at least I was listening at
the time and predicted it with a great deal of horror -- so we don't
know what transpired except for a few hints and clues, but we have been
told how to feel about it and what to think. So then anyone who wants to
try to parse out the story can't find it in the article the claims
itself to be news. If you, as so many of us do, prefer to think for
yourself about what goes on in the world and thus have a rational basis
for your emotions based on that... Well, by now, I have to say the news
just gives me rabies. Not because of the news itself, since who knows
what it even is? It's the reporting! That's what I keep coming back to
in trying to figure out anything intelligent or rational to add to the
discussion... Can't. Just get rabies from running through the article to
try to figure out if I can figure out what happened to talk about.

Okay, I'll go foam at the mouth and snap and snarl and lunge for
people's throat away from my keyboard. Sigh.
