[nagdu] Victim or Advocate?

That wasn't an article. That had to do with Cheryl's efforts as a travel agent to work toward full participation opportunity for dogs. This place was in the Bahamas, not in the U.S. or Canada. She was reporting what she had learned about the sea lions and about and about working around the dolphins. She was trying to convey to people who might be planning a trip to the Bahamas one of the things they might expect.

Was the person who was the focus of the animal objecting to refusal to allow the dog on the beach, or in the water. Were I in such a situation, I would have simply pretended I didn't hear the beach issue and dealt with the consequences in as dignified and direct a manner afforded me by my over 35 years of wide travel in numerous environments, with only my faithful dogs and no sighted back-up and/or interference.
