Are you sure you aren't just misunderstanding the calling? <Giggle> Wow, how big is the grating anyway? I would actually think you would want to be careful about carrying your dog over it because of possible back injury.

Once I carried Spencer across hot asphalt because one of the construction workers offered to do it, and I said to myself, "Self, never relinquish the dog to anyone." I picked him up by the back strap and carried him over best I could. Needless to say, I went home by another country.
