I work in an office as well as teach in classrooms.  When I'm in my  
cube, she lays down on the floor and just watches the goings-on.  If  
we're in class then she lays under or near a table.  My dog goes where  
ever I go.  I need her to be with me in case of fire alarm or what  
have you, but I also think traveling around the building gives her a  
change of scene.
I have given up taking her out to relieve while at work.  Stubborn  
Dobermans are stubborn and she has made it clear that it is her  
preference to wait until she returns to her yard to take care of  
business.

She also doesn't want to chew on bones or anything; she's very serious  
and when she's working, she's working and she's watching my  
environment and me as well.
I make time a couple times a day just to get silly with her and get  
some pets and snuggles in, but she doesn't seem bothered if I don't.
Frequently we go to places for other meetings or out with students,  
and after work I have been known to go out for sushi or a beer with  
friends so she gets to go other places as well.
On the weekends we do the errands and sometimes go to the dog park  
depending.
Even if she doesn't get all kinds of stimulation every day she seems  
pretty happy and well adjusted.
Right now she has adjusted herself right on to my pillow.  All this  
reading about dog beds in offices has given her ideas.
