Well on behalf of one who took her dog to convention, he was wonderful. I had a roomie from NY to which I am from and she is a member of NAGDU, Joyce Carico, I know I spelled it wrong and her dog Sienna, we have roomed before together. Also Maxx had some play time with her in the room, and also with Julie Philipson's new dog Viggo.

I have to say that all of us from NYAGDU who went did take our dogs, they were all well behaved. We are so proud.

I actually on the 3rd prior to any activities, went down to the pool, and Maxx was on a tie down near the pool, where I was in the shade, at first he didn't want me to walk anywhere near the pool when we entered, he felt I should go no where near it, but I did, I used my cane to which I had in my bag and found my way to the edge of the pool and swam and cooled off for about 5 minutes, got out, went back to maxx, who was more than comfortable lying in the shade on his back with his legs in the air, funny guy.

I sat there for about half an hour before heading upstairs, oh people they have a hot tub there also, if you were at the rosen for convention, it is the adult quiet pool, all the way to the right of the Market Place, and the hot tub itself is in the quiet pool area, there is the pool, and in the back of the pool area, to the left is the hot tub. ahh nice.

Anyway, we will be in touch. Just letting you know the dogs did great for those interested in bringing there dogs

Congratulations, Cheryl. I look forward to hearing more about the
activities of the travel and tourism division! We're actually getting to
the beginnings of our longpplanned and prepared-for traveling, so it's
good of you to time your life to be in sync with ours. /grin/ Now, if
you have the secret key to traveling with a Daisy hound, that would be
great. /lol/ Once we finish with the unpacking and catch up from our
recent bief jaunt, I will need to filter out all the Daisy bits to see
what I've learned about traveling with a Mitzi poodle guide. Beyond the
fact that she is delightful as a traveling companion and as a guide, so
I'm happy about that. She is also very patient with her crazy sister and
in giving up a whole lot of her own share of the time and attention that
crazy Daisy requires when she's all hyped up over everything. /smile/
Anyway, it was nice to use what I've learned about traveling with guides
over the past few years to just settle in with mine like I knew what I
  was doing or something. /grin/

Sorry about your airport security experience. That old "you're the
problem" ploy gets old in a hurry as it is. When the person saying it is
giving you grief about a field in which you have a whole lot of
experience and education and professional acumen, it gets difficult not
to grab your dog's teeth and gof or their throat. Well, for me, anyway.
I may look like I'm maintaining my calnm and composure like an
intelligent, civilized human being, but ... That's all on the surface.
Let us know how you fare in addressing the issue. /smile/

I was out one night by the pool and directed some of you to the correct area for the box, some where kind about it, some well, were not and told me that the hotel told them that this was the place to go, that was the hotels fault.
