[nagdu] flying with your dog

Cheryl,

Thanks for the clarification. I was pretty sure that was the case, but
it's good to have that confirmed. /smile/

Dar,

Good question and good way to illustrate some of the absurd myths people
will insist are true fact. Good grief! I love to fly and have no phobia,
but I am not stupid enough to think that every plan I'm on has a 100
percent certain of staying in the air 100 percent of the time. You'd
better believe I have a plan for grabbing my cane -- I carry a fold up
so that it *will* be in eassy reach, and I keep the loop off so that it
is hard to keep it from popping out and sprawling like a, well, poodle./
What I will be carrying, In addition to my purse, which I keep across my
shoulder, is my electronics bag because no way no how do I leave that
behind in a crash! That is what I will be carrying while my dog leash
guides and I snap my cane into locked position to knock panicked humans
out of our way or push them in the right direction so we get off the
bleeping plan before it's too late. Once I have reviewed every detail of
this strategy at the beginning of every flight, I then can relax and
close my eyes and enjoy the flight. /lol/

Leave your cane behind in a crash and carry your dog. Yeah, like that's
gonna happen. /lol/
