Tracy,
I was going to suggest cream cheese because it's hard to lick off.
Since she can't have dairy, though have you tried those pill pocket
things? I think they are made by the people who make greenies.
Bristol can't have grain so doesn't eat them but my vet swears by
them. We have also found success with a method which preys upon a
dog's innate greed. :) Make up about three little "balls" of peanut
butter, or whatever you are using to hide the pills in, and let the
dog see all of them. First give her a glob without a pill and while
she's swallowing it, show her the other two. Then give her the one
with the pill in it, quickly followed up by the last empty glob. We
had to do this with Bristol before we discovered cream cheese.

I'm going to order one next week, and then have my husband make any
changes we want to it.
Bristol has been off of the Tramadol for two days now, and it is
great. But I know it's only temporary so it's best for me to plan
ahead for times when she'll need me to help her.

Do not meddle in the affaires of dragons, for you are crunchy and
taste good with ketchup.
