Marion,

There is a common denominator. I think it is from cultures, some of which,
don't have a community that uses guide dogs culturally. I like the idea of
the flyer.

What my plans are for this year is to start going to the elementary schools
and health fairs around the city to discuss guide dog practices and issues.
I want to do elementary to start young. Most times, kids that young go home
and tell their parents everything they learned at school. This will be done
even more so when they can say a dog was in the class. the parents will
learn from the children...and may ask more questions.

The health fairs usually turn out large crowds here in Houston. I could get
a booth and talk about guide dog users.

Marion, you called a spade a spade. I like NAGDU's creative outreach to
these communities who aren't on board with service dog access. Way to go
NAGDU pres & board!
