Chassidy,
    It is a good idea to call back in five or ten minutes to inquire about 
the status of the cab. Generally, if one has been dispatched, they will tell 
you the cab number. If the cab shows up and either does not pick you up 
because of the dog or otherwise denies you access, you have the cab number 
that was dispatched.
