Tracy,
Thanks for sharing your experience. Right now I can only put a bit of
weight on the foot, so it's still crutches or the walker. It's progress
though. I'm hoping to be freestyle walking in the next couple of weeks,
even if only for a very short bit.
Got any suggestions for support canes? I've seen some older blind
people using white ones. I think it's supposed to indicate that the
person is blind just as the long white cane does, but I'm not sure the
public notices such things. I think the dog would be a give-a-way in
any case! *smile*
