  I've warned people the same way on the basis that I grew up in the 
country... /lol/ it's true, but some how city slickers are just confused 
by that. /lol/

So I am still paying for the time I quashed that instinct... The 
attacker still has her job.

So, I won't make *that* mistake again! If in doubt... Do!

Unless one can divert and prevent and arrange to employee more civilized 
methods first, naturally. But, honestly, if it's the sort of person who 
will attack a *blind* person from behind... Think about it! What? Was 
she afraid I would see her coming? Seriously, whoat kind of person does 
that sort of thing?

Oh, well. Too late for active self-defense now in that instance. Live 
and learn!
