[nagdu] having many dogs

Rebecca,
Not rude at all, I get it.
Everyone's situation is different and you have to figure out what works
for you. Factoring in family reactions and how the guide dog will fit
into your life on a daily basis is important. What works for me and my
family is not necessarily what works for everyone else.
I'm just saying that because a family member doesn't want your guide dog
in their house doesn't mean they don't like you anymore. Of course
whether or not you choose to visit without the dog is an entirely
different matter.

Nothing wrong with that, just saying that because if someone doesn't have those means, finantial, logestical, and emotional, the parents saying "You can have the dog, just not in my house" may sway the balance toward someone *not* having a dog.

It use to bother me if my dog wasn't able to come to a relative's house but she did have that right so we would go there for a couple of hours and then go home to be with our dogs.
