[nagdu] and... how do you get your dogs to stop barking?

You can put his or her leash on and try the obedience approach.... I had the
same problem with two of my previous dogs. My follow up trainer came to the
house and said, as I ring the dorr bell, and as he is barking, .....well, I
must tell you, the technique he told me to use was very affective. We're
talking simply a two hand correction. It worked. With the other dog, all I
needed to do was to put a leash on him. He would not bark as long as he had
the leash. The barking thing is manageable as long as time is spent to make
the dog understand that the barking is not except able as times....just set
the boundaries... Andy and Shubert

TTRUST ME WEdon't have the perfect dogs in this house. One is definetely a
barker and my husband had to muzzle him at work because he would bark at
anything that moved or anything that he heard. Wo we are wanting to know the
same thing about stopping inappropriate barking.
