Hi, Cheryl,
Unfortunately, I have no choice but to consider Odie my four-legged furry 
kid.
Due to medical mattters, I'm not able to have a natural pregnancy to have a 
kid directly.
However, One day when Dale and I finally get a larger place of our own, 
we'll be able to adopt one or two kids who are looking for a place to call 
home.
Still, Odie prefers to be called a human kid over a dog any given day.
If he's just called a dog or animal, he feels insulted.
So, I have had to stick with treating him as a human kid.
