Hi List,

Hope everyone enjoyed there weekend. I was up in the mountains, with
beautiful weather and great company. Other than getting little to no sleep,
it was awesome.

I have been reading over all the messages over the 2 days. 300plus messages
for just this list alone. Wow guys! So here are a few notes of interest on
the current threads. Things I am going to be a little stricter about in the
future.

1.	One line, one word messages. I know people want to be polite and
thank other for the support, encouragement, or whatever. I also know people
have very short bits of info to offer, and in some cases that is okay. But
as of lately, there has been a huge amount of one line messages. With a high
volume like ours here, we can't have the one line messages. If I see people
over and over sending one line messages to the list, I will email you
directly off list. I will let one slide once and a while.

If you want to personally thank someone please do it off list. People
usually like to get those thank you's, directly as its more personal and
more sincere. I am talking about the Thank you, the hugs, the yes, or No, or
any combination of one line, one word messages.

2.	Changing the subject of threads. There is one thread currently on
the list that started off as one topic, and now has turned into another
topic. I did see a few people tried to change the subject. Once a person
does that, please let's stay with the new subject line.

3.	Responding to multiple messages. Lets say for example, you want to
respond to several messages with the same subject but to multiple people,
its better to put all of those replies into one message than multiple ones.
This also cuts down on the amount of traffic on the list.

I am not asking a lot here, nor am I trying to be mean, or unreasonable.
Just ideas on how to make the list more manageable. Its awesome that so many
people are interacting and involved. But there are those who are not as
active on the list because its so high traffic.

Thank you,

Marsha, Moderator
