Hi Terrie,
I think you are the same Terrie that I met a few weeks ago.
This is Deanna and Pascal, from Cincinnati
My brief intro: I am working my first guide dog, from Guide Dogs for the
Blind. He is a black lab, who will be 5 in a few weeks. I recently became
the official owner of Pascal. I am also the President of the Ohio
Association of Guide Dog Users.

Hi everyone,

I just posted in response to Ramona's email, and then realized that I have
not introduced myself. I have been quietly on the list for a while and
really appreciate what you all are saying. I have had five dogs from The
Seeing Eye, and have my retired fifth dog living with us. I got my first dog
in 1974. I love Seeing Eye, but am looking at the possibility of changing
schools because I want more clicker work than Seeing Eye is doing. I know
they are doing some, I just want more. I need to have a knee replaced and
recover from that before I get a new dog, so I have some time yet to
struggle with my decision.

 

I tend to post fairly infrequently, but I do speak up when I think I have
something to contribute or when I have an issue that I would like help with.

 

It's great to be on the list.
