[nagdu] Introduction

Hi Terrie,
I do not often post much either unless I have a problem or something 
substantive to contribute. I have my first guide dog Destiny from GDF. 
She is 6 and 1/2 years old golden lab/flat coat cross. Due to a seizure 
that she had on July 1, it was recommended for safety reasons to retire 
her. Her behavior has subtly changed since the seizure. It is 
heartbreaking. I have applied for a successor dog at GDF.

I am blind and profoundly hard of  hearing and have balance issues. I am 
a counseling graduate student at Towson University. This is my last year 
of classes. The following year is my internship. I live in Bowie, 
Maryland with my parents; but I hope to be independent once I have a job.
