Hello all!

I'm reading all the messages and enjoying the conversation a lot.  I 
think really controversial topics like the current threads are great to 
have.  There are strong feelings and strong passion.  I think a lot of 
people have been deeply impacted by these issues in the past.   It's 
important to talk about it.  I think it helps to work out our own 
thoughts by having these conversations.  I think it also helps us to 
identify what the core issues are that need to be addressed.

I very much appreciate all the well thought and heart felt posts.  I'd 
just like to add a gentle reminder to be nice to others.  We are not all 
in the same place with our own blindness, learning of skills or a 
greater understanding of blindness and guide dogs in society.  Let's 
please share our thoughts in a respectful and especially a supportive 
manner.
