Hi, all,
I'm sure some are wondering how the labra seal thing came about when it comes to Nat's guide dog liam.
He's a true labrador who loves water and enjoys it.
Back in 2009 when Natalie went to enjoy her time in the swimming pool on Auraria campus, Liam was on tie down to a metal bench.
He had a fit because Nat was in the water and he wasn't.
Little did we know, he broke his leash in half and was ready to dive into the water.
After that incident, I offered to go with Nat down to the swimming pool area to help work with Liam on trying to get him to not vocalize so much whenever his master wanted to enjoy her time being a water fish too.
Eventually, I invited Natalie down to the Canine Rehab Conditioning Group Center where they have an indoor swimming pool for dogs.
While Odie and I were in auquadic therapy session to treat his degenerative disc disease condition, Natalie and Liam went to the doggy swimming pool where Liam could have a blast with the water.
Time after time we went back, Liam actually started making seal sounds and that's when I came up with the nickname for him labra seal.
I'm sure Natalie would happily share more stories about her labra seal as they are great and funny.
